1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CertProtector's SSL monitoring and management services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

CertProtector provides SSL certificate monitoring, alerting, and managed renewal services. Our Services include:

  • Automated SSL certificate monitoring
  • Email alerts for certificate expiration
  • Managed certificate renewal assistance
  • Compliance reporting (select plans)
  • Emergency SSL fix services

3. Service Limitations

You acknowledge that:

  • Certificate renewal may require manual intervention and customer cooperation
  • We monitor certificates but do not guarantee prevention of all outages
  • Installation of certificates may require access to your hosting environment
  • Response times vary by service plan

4. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate domain and contact information
  • Maintaining valid payment methods
  • Responding to renewal notices in a timely manner
  • Providing necessary access for certificate installation
  • Verifying domain ownership when requested

5. Billing and Payment

Subscription plans are billed monthly in advance. One-time services are billed upon purchase. All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Additional domains beyond plan limits are billed at $8/month per domain. Certificate costs from Certificate Authorities are passed through at cost with no markup.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Scheduled Fix services include a 30-day warranty. Emergency and Rush services are non-refundable once work has begun.

7. Service Level Agreement

Response times by plan:

  • Starter: 24-hour email response
  • Growth: 4-hour priority response
  • Business: 2-hour priority response
  • Enterprise: Dedicated support with custom SLA

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CERTPROTECTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CertProtector from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
